Triple R Rodeo - Since 1986

Triple R Rodeo produces authentic Ranch Rodeos that provide a more exciting view of the cowboy way! Our events offer spectacular entertainment for all ages. We strive to host Rodeos that create enthusiasm, but still maintain and represent a more traditional ranching heritage.

I am pleased to provide you with information about our rodeos. When we contract with an organization to produce a rodeo, it is outlined well in advance to know what we are expected to provide. We will sign a contract and produce what is agreed upon.

A good rodeo performance should not last longer than 2 1/2 hours; therefore we need to determine the number of teams and the events to be performed. We strive to keep the crowd interested and involved plus have the rodeo over in time to start your dance or other event.

The following is what is typically agreed upon, but we can change anything to fit your request:
We provide all the cattle, the teams and all the help to put on the Rodeo. This includes the Rodeo Announcer, Secretary, Time Keepers, Judges & Chute Help. Your organization would provide the arena, in prepared condition for the event, do the advertising, concessions, gate & sponsorship of the awards (belt buckles) or other prizes that you may wish to award to the champion teams. Each performance is concluded with the crowning of the Champion Team, pictures with the sponsors & officials and paying of the prize money to the winning teams. Teams normally consist of 5 men to a team. The team’s entry fee is typically paid back 100% to them as prize money. This is an option that can be discussed.

Some of the Ranch Rodeo’s that we have produced include:
Cowboy Fellowship of Atascosa County, Ring of Fire Ranch Rodeo in Boerne, Cotulla Ranch Rodeo Fiesta, Rio Grande Valley Stock Show & Ranch Rodeo, Palomino Fest Ranch Rodeo, Southwest Texas Ranching Heritage Ranch Rodeo, South Texas Ranch Heritage Days in Kingsville, Atascosa County Sesquicentennial Celebration, Brooks County Ranch Rodeo, Winter Garden Ranch Rodeo Fiesta, Mesquite Trail Drivers Ranch Rodeo in Atkins, L.I.F.E. Laredo Fair & Exposition Ranch Rodeo in Laredo and the Hill Country Fair Association Ranch Rodeo

Some of the events that can be interchanged include:
Wild Horse Saddling – Stampede Races – Steer Tying – Shovel Races – Calf Branding – Team Penning – Steer Loading – Double Mugging - Wild Hog Catching – Goat Roping - Wild Cow Milking Rescue Races – Steer Necking – Pony Express Races – Cow Hide Races - Greased Pig Sacking – Saddle Bronc Riding – Bull Poker Hard Money - Bull Riding – Extreme Cowboy Races – Steer Doctoring

Typical Order of Events:
  • Welcome
  • History of Ranch Rodeo
  • Introductions of Officials, Committeeman, Sponsors, etc...
  • Introduction of the Ranch Teams into the arena
  • Prayer
  • National Anthem
  • Start the Rodeo with the 1st event
  • Sponsors will be recognized again as individual event sponsors
  • Conclude the rodeo with the presentation of awards & money
  • Photos of the teams with any sponsors
I am anxious to see what we can do for your organization. We will be happy to work to provide the right rodeo for your event. Please watch the “Triple R Rodeo Show”, it will provide you with additional details. If you still would like me to attend a meeting to further discuss a proposal, please feel free to give me a call. Based upon the outcome of our discussions, I will provide you with a formal contract to be signed by both parties.
